Hi. My name is Sophie Priscilla Tululah Mulcahey. Actually none of those are my names but that's what me and my new Foster Mom are gonna go with. You see, I was rescued from the dog pound where I was picked up as a stray on my LAST DAY! Foster Mom knows I was someone's dog though because she says I'm the sweetest thing this side of the Golden Retriever Gate Bridge. And she says now that I'm in the RAGOM program, BIG BIG things are in store for me so I need a BIG BIG name. Foster Mom and Foster Aunt got me all cleaned up and cut out my mats and gave me a nice, long bath and now I smell GReat!! And, if I do say so myself, I am ADORABLE!! Hopefully no one will notice there's no fur on my tail (could be from my former living conditions or maybe from living on the streets). Now I look like a B-E-U-tiful Golden Retriever with Cocker Spaniel eyes and Cocker Spaniel ears. Don't be fooled by my sad eyes. I'm one HAPPY girl. I went to the vet too and got all my shots and a thorough checking over. I also had a heartworm test. If I'd have known, I could have studied. The vet says that I am around 8 years old and that I've had babies. Maybe lots of babies. My name was just Sophie Priscilla Tululah til Foster Mom heard that. Mulcahey is my married name. Obviously we're not together anymore. And those babies? They don't call. They don't write.

I get along with my canine foster sisters and everyone at the vet LOVED me. I guess I have to get spayed so I won't be able to look for my forever home for a little while. Keep watching. BIG BIG things are gonna happen for Sophie Priscilla.

Hi RAGOM! It’s me! Sophie Priscilla. I’m visiting my former foster mom so I thought I’d give everyone a little update on my status. Things are going just great for me in my forever home. My family and I go everywhere together which is why Foster Mom hasn’t had many dogsitting opportunities. We go to soccer games and family outings and to the cabin and I’m happy wherever we go. This time my family is doing missionary work in Africa so they couldn’t take me. I’m happy to reconnect with my canine foster sisters though and I can tell they missed me badly. I’ve settled in here like I never left. I still grunt and spin circles when I’m happy which, frankly, is pretty much all of the time. I can just sense how much Foster Mom appreciates it when I wake up in the middle of the night, put a tennis ball in my mouth, and put my face on the bed next to hers. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t mind that my breath is hot and kinda stinky. I could be wrong on that one though.

Here’s a current picture of me. I may be a little grayer and a little wider but Foster Mom says I’m still a living doll!

It's me, Sophie Priscilla. I am having the BEST time in foster care! Foster Mom is teaching me lots of things. I'm learning about riding in the car and how to sleep in a human's bed. She's teaching me not to poop on the deck just because there's snow there and that Greenies are mmmm good! I'm learning about nail trimming (booo!!) and about fur brushing (yea!!!). I guess you could say I'm being foster home schooled. It's never too late to learn! Foster Mom's learning too. She's learned not to stop fast when she's walking through the house. We've had more than one NUB incident (for you unindoctrinated, that's Nose Up Butt). Sophie Priscilla just wants to be close to her humans! I'm even really quick to do my business outside so I can get back inside. Then I wait to greet my canine foster sisters when they come back in. We go nose to nose while I wag my tail. "What'd ya do what'd ya see what'd ya touch what'd ya smell?" I can tell they love me and they DO NOT think I'm a buttinski.

Foster Mom says if you want to really be able to picture me, you should imagine an adorable, bouncy girl with thick legs and big feet who walks with a lilt and always looks at you like she's looking through her bifocals. That's me!Mostly though you should picture me with my head in your lap waiting for a pet. And grunting. Who's Chewbacca?

I'm ready for my closeup, Mr. DogMille.

Sophie Priscilla here. BIG BIG things are happening for me already!! I'm getting two squares a day of really good food, I get the run of the house all the time, and I don't have to have any more babies (little ingrates)! Wooo hoo!! Foster Mom says there are some things I should pass on, so I will: She thinks my most endearing qualities are: 1. I'm a LIVING DOLL, 2. I grunt when I get scratched, 3. I bounce when I walk, 4. I am a HAPPY HAPPY girl, 5. I get along with everyone (I even kiss on foster sister Bully Bella and she lets me!) 6. I have NO bad habits. Whoa! I sound like the perfect dog! THAT'S probably why Foster Aunt said, "Rut row! How you ever gonna let this one go?"

I'm scheduled for my spay at the end of March. I also get to have my teeth cleaned. Sophie Priscilla's gonna have some pearly choppers! Foster Mom says I need it cuz she says my mouth smells like...well, I won't say what she said it smells like. Must be from all those years of eating poor quality dog food. Now I'm on good food so that's gonna help my teeth AND give me a beautiful coat. I'm gonna be SUCH a babe. Who can resist? I know Foster Mom's having a little trouble resisting. She tried really hard to get me in for my spay sooner but they couldn't take me.

Try as she may, it's really hard for Foster Mom to get a picture of me. Usually all she gets is my nose cuz I'm never more than a foot away from her.
