Hi Everyone!  

My name is Sophie and my number is 13-7531.  You might be asking yourself, why is that number so high?  Well, that number was assigned to me to represent how many dogs have come into RAGOM since the first dog named Sophie, way back in 1985.  You see, I am also named after her!  What an honor!

I thought I would put up a pledge page so I could help raise money for all of the wonderful golden retrievers in RAGOM's care.  Every dollar you give goes to help the pups in need.

From foster Mom: Sophie is an absolute joy to have around.  She is by far the best behaved dog I have ever met!  She already knows how to “sit” and “stay” very well!  She is very patient and always waits for the “ok” to release from her “sit, stay”……although that is her favorite position. J

Miss Sophie had a GR-eat weekend! She went hunting and successfully “stuffed” a bird! The best part is there was no clean up on our end.   Good girl!  We are proud to inform you all that Sophie is 100% potty trained.  What a fast learner!

 

I’m sure she will want to take over and do an update of her own, but for now she says “thank you” to everyone who has donated to her page and looks forward to meeting her FUR-ever family really soon!

Hi Everyone!

I want to give a big shout out to Rebecca Erdmann, Jessica Geidl, Pamela Hammerschmidt, Nita Hughes, C Jendro and Kathy Wickman for their SUPER GENEROUS donations to my Walk for Rescue at Goldzilla! Combined you helped me raise $650 to help fellow RAGOM puppers! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Also, I have big news to share. I have been adopted and have moved to Iowa where I will be loved beyond belief and have more toys that I know what to do with.

Thanks to my foster sisters for loving me and cuddling with me and sharing your toys.

Hello to all my RAGOM friends out there!!

Sophie here, reminding you to keep cool in this heat!  Wow! I’m having no troubles……but you know weather doesn’t bother me! Lol!  I am having a blast stealing FM’s computer and looking at ALL of the pictures you are all posting on facebook.  What a cool site!

This weekend was another GR-eat one!   I took a ride in the car with Aunt Cindy….and she even let me drive!  Well, ok….not really.  I’m not licensed.  Ha!  

I saw all kinds of pictures from Woofstock and it looked like a TON of fun!  Looking at all of those pictures made me SUPER excited for Goldzilla!!  Can’t believe that it’s this weekend already!  Are you all ready??  I am!! I’m SO pumped that I get to meet my FUR-ever family!  So here’s the deal:

I have my very own pledge page set up to raise money for real, live Goldens and Golden mixes so RAGOM can rescue as many as possible!

I will also be attending Goldzilla this Sunday as a part of the silent auction booth.  Whoever bids the highest on me gets to take me home!  All of that money goes directly to rescuing puppies too!  Yay!

Wow!! Thank you SO much to “C” who was incredibly generous in their donation to Sophie’s pledge page!  Sophie is super excited to have such a wonderful group supporting her.

Sophie is doing really well in her foster home!  She can go for hours with NO accidents and has absolutely NO resource guarding issues.  She does very well with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats either.  Sophie would be great with kids of any age!

Sophie is looking for her FUR-ever home!  She will be a part of the silent auction at Goldzilla next week and whoever bids the highest for her will get to take her home!  We have to disclose that you will need to be present to bid, unless you have someone who can be present for you!

Sophie would also like to tell you that her walk page is still in need of pledges so she can reach her goal!  100% of the funds donated will go directly to RAGOM so they can save as many pups as possible!

Sophie can’t wait for Goldzilla…….The countdown is on!!

Hi RAGOMland!!!!! 

I snuck my way on to FM’s computer because I really wanted to do my very own update!  I LOVE RAGOM and let me tell you why!

Well for starters, I have to tell you that I have met some really awesome people.  They give me all kinds of hugs and kisses, even though I’m just a stuffed animal.  But think of how wonderfully they treat their real, living pups! 

I have also met some GReat dogs!  They might be on to me being a toy, but I’m not sure yet……

Krae loves to try to play with me.  Do you think she is just being nice and trying to include me? Well, either way I LOVE the attention!

Hey this place is SO great and I’m super duper proud to tell you about something else….wait….FM might catch me…. Nope, I’m good!

Anyway, I have the honor of representing RAGOM in the silent auction booth at Goldzilla.  I am looking for my FURever home and the best part is that ALL of the money someone bids on me goes directly to saving other real, living doggies!! Waaahooo!!!!

There are two ways to support me and my RAGOM buddies! Isn't that cool?? You can either pledge to my Goldzilla page OR you can bid on me at the Silent Auction. The silent auction winner gets to take me home for good! BUt if you can't be at Goldzilla for the silent auction, please pledge to my Goldzilla page.
