From Sophie's (fka Sugar) forever family...
Every step of the way, Sophie was the BIGGEST sweetheart I could have ever asked for. She never complained and all she wanted from life was to be petted. Everyone who met her commented on what a sweet dog she was. She enjoyed her time as an assisted therapy dog, visiting persons at the nursing homes. She loved being our black lab (Jax)'s and cat's buddy and then she also became my son, Gavin's, best friend. She was by his side literally from day one watching over him. She died on his 3rd birthday. We are all grieving her loss now but definitely know she is in a better place without pain, which she deserves.
I guess I just wanted to thank you again for providing me with one of my soul mates, Sophie. I learned a lot of important life lessons from her and she will forever be in my heart. Sincerely~ |

It is with a very sad heart that I am contacting you. We had to "put her down" last Saturday. She had gone through so many health issues in her life from being found pregnant in OK, to her inner ear removal. She had to have two large cysts removed about 2 years ago from an unexplained source. She also continued to have severe allergies. She had been going down hill this past year, in particular suffering with a lot of unexplained skin issues, enlarged liver, arthritis in her spine/hips and general slowing down. This past week she started to really not do well.
