12/31/06: Happy New Year Stormy! This is the first day of the rest of your life! What adventures the new year will hold for you!
Stormy's first day as a RAGOM girl was just that: stormy! We picked up this beautiful AKC three year old Golden on a New Year's Eve that started with rain and ended with a snow storm, and it's still coming down!
Stormy's personality is anything but stormy though. She is happy, playful, and full of spunk! She had lots of fun romping in the snow with her new foster siblings and proved to be a good running partner for our active Black Lab, Katie!
This 62 lb. Golden girl was surrendered by her owners because they were unable to give her the time and attention she deserves. They feel she was over stimulated in their busy household and think she would be happier in a quieter home. She grew up with another dog, cats, and three young children. She gets along with all ages of kids and can have free roam of the house.
One of Stormy's favorite games is fetch and her forever home will need to spend time playing and exercising with her. She walks very nicely with a Gentle Leader and knows basic commands. Her previous owners reported that she did not try to run away when she was off leash at their lake home and she loves to go swimming! She also enjoys winter and we have taken her out several times today to play in the snow. She has a very beautiful long wavy golden coat.
Stormy is spayed, housebroken, and does not have any health problems. She is also trim and fit. Stormy will see the vet in a couple days to be sure she is up to date on all her shots.
We'll send more updates as we get to know this gorgeous girl better!
