Beautiful Sugar, who came with the nick-name "Sugar Bear", arrived at our home late tonight after a long drive from Wisconsin.  She rode perfectly in the car, snoozing most of the ride.  Sugar is a 6 year old, gorgeous blond purebread Golden, with AKC registration to boot! She has beautiful, innocent eyes, and a loving playful spirit.  Sugar comes from a very loving home, where they took great care of her and were very sad to see her go, but she was not fond of the two small dogs in the home.  For some reason, she just couldn't make it work with those little pups, so she is on to a new adventure where we can figure out what kind of home will make her the happiest she can be! Lucky girl!

Sugar is a little nervous tonight, but not enough to keep her from exploring every nook and cranny in our house as soon as she arrived. She met our 8 year old golden without much fuss, again a little nervous but they seemed to get a long just fine.  Sugar was used to being an only dog for the first 4 or 5 years of her life, so we believe she might just need a little socializing in order for her to get used to the idea of sharing her space with others. With her people, Sugar is a perfect angel! She seems to like to snuggle, give kisses, loves to be pet (velcro dog), and did we mention her repetoire of tricks?! She knows a host of goodies, like shake, high 5, roll over, play dead (bang!), and lots more including all of the important commands.  What a charmer she is - a show dog for sure.

This beauty will be snatched up fast, be sure of it! Just look at that face...what a looker.  And healthy, too! Yes, Sugar Bear would love to be adopted right away, so she can get on with living her new golden life, happy and ready to show you her stuff.  More to come on this lovely soon...
