Sunny is a beautiful golden around the age of 10. We just had our first vet visit and except for ear infections he is in great health. Sunny came from a farm where he had lots of room to roam so he needs a lot of exercise and areas to play. He was surrendered to RAGOM due to divorce and not enough time to care for him any longer.

He is such a handsome, sweet boy. He actually has a lot of energy for a 10 year old. He loves his daily walks. He has been wearing a gentle leader on our walks and does very well with it. He enjoys the company of our resident dog, they love to run around in the back yard together. One thing that is special about Sunny is that he loves to talk. It kind of sounds like a chimpanzee, it's very cute. Sunny is a great dog and deserves a great home to spend the rest of his life with people who love him and will take good care of him.

Sunny wishes you all a very happy Valentine's Day! We went to the Sweetheart's event today at Chuck and Don's in Highland Park. We met wonderful people who came to visit and may be interested in adopting a golden. Sunny had a great day. He was calm and loved all the attention he got. He did get a little growly at a few dogs who were somewhat overactive when meeting him but otherwise introduced himself nicely. He may do better in a home without another active dog. He enjoyed all the smells of the pet store including the treats and foods and seeing all the toys to play with. Now that we are home and have had some dinner (I put some salmon in his food for a special treat tonight because of all the good work he did today) he is sleeping on the couch. He is a tired boy from all the love he got today. Thanks for visiting.

Sunny is such a great dog, I can't say enough great things about him. We really enjoy having him here with us. He is so playful. He LOVES his daily walks and as you can see in the photo he LOVES to sleep on our couch.

He gets full range of the house whether we are home or not and behaves himself very well. He does like to bark at other dogs walking outside if he sees them. We introduced him today to our neighbor's dogs and he did well. There were just a few growls while trying to establish himself. He would make such a great companion. I have not had him around cats or children so don't know yet how he responds to that. He does love to chase squirrels in our back yard though.

Sunny loves to be around people so will follow you everywhere. He loves his stomach and ears rubbed constantly if you have an available hand. (No room for idle hands here.) He will sleep on the bed if allowed but we try to keep him down and he listens. He just goes to the couch and sleeps there all night long. What a sweetheart!

Sunny is a total sweetheart! It is hard to believe he is 10 (which is a guesstimate) because he is so playful. He is getting along great with our resident dog, they enjoy playing together outside in the warm weather.

He is a typical beautiful golden retriever. Long feathers of golden red with white on his belly. His front paws are so adorable with his speckeled coloring. He will follow you around wherever you go and be a great companion. He loves his belly rubbed, cuddling and going for walks.

We are still working a little on learning that he must go potty outside ALL the time. He has an accident here and there but he is a smart boy and learns quickly. He has been an outside dog his whole life so he does have a few things to learn about living inside.

We love Sunny dearly and he will make a great companion to the lucky family who gives him his furever home.
