Sweetie 08-455

Profile

Sweetie........she is just that a sweetie. Sweetie has been in our home 12 hours now. She is a sweetheart. She has walked in with a huge heart, and loves attention. Our resident dog Charlie loves her to death, he finally has someone to play with and hang out with. For the first 2 hours she was at our house we played in the back yard with her FAVORITE ball. She retrieves like a champ. She would play from sunrise to sunset if she could.

She met the resident dog Charlie and resident cat Allie with flying colors. They have had a few moments where they have to work out there own issues, but I think right now they are all set. She has had free roam of the house and yard, and no problems at all.

This little girl was born on 2/10/07, and is very petite weighing in at about 40 lbs. She is UTD on all shots and is spayed, potty trained and listens VERY well. She is ready to find her forever home. Please contact placementatragom [dot] org to see if you have room in your heart for this beautiful little girl.

FM here….sorry it’s taken a while to get an update for Sweetie. We have been having a lot of fun getting to know Sweetie. She has really come out of her shell, and is getting very comfortable around the house. She would be a great addition to an active family. She loves to go for walk (which we do nightly), she will cuddle with just about anyone that gives her the time. She LOVES to play ball in the back yard, she will play all day and night if she could. She is the greatest cuddler I have ever been around. She crawls up in bed and will lay her head on your chest and start kissing you till you start petting her.

She will play with Charlie our resident dog all day while we are gone. They are always together, if they aren’t we know someone is up to something.

She is so gentle with our 2 kids (1 & 3 years old). Our daughter says “Sweetie is so cute”.

Sweetie was not adopted over the weekend.

Sweetie had a good weekend. We had a visitor in our home for the weekend (Smiley). When Smiley arrived Sweetie became very anxious. Thankfully our resident dog Charlie was here to comfort her. I am not sure if she was afraid of Smiley or if she was afraid of the change. She never got completely comfortable with him all weekend. I think it would be best for Sweetie to go to a home that has a dog already in the home. She gets very anxious when things change. She is still a sweetheart...and would make someone VERY happy.

Sweetie was not a fan of the cold weather on Sunday. She would go out and do her business, and that was it. She wanted in as soon as possible. As soon as she came into the house she wanted to cuddle with someone to warm up. It was so cute....to see her run around in the snow the first time she went outside. But after that it was out and in really quick.

If you want to meet Sweetie please let placementatragom [dot] org know....she would love to meet her forever family.

Sweetie has been great this week. FD has been traveling all week, so it’s be FM and the 2 kids. This is Sweetie’s first week of being at home all day (alone with the resident dog and cat). She has done wonderfully. She got a hold of one of the kids toys, not her fault we left it out. So she has made the whole week with no accidents or damaging anything. YAY for Sweetie.

When we get home from work/daycare she very excited and ready to play. I am sure Sweetie and Charlie (resident dog) play A LOT during the day, they do it enough during the night.

It’s not required, but I would like to see Sweetie in a home with another dog, I think it would help with her getting so anxious when people leave. When I leave in the morning we try to change up our routine a little so she doesn’t get so anxious. She will just follow me around the house (on my heels) and then stands by the door when I leave with a sad look on her face. I feel quity leaving her, but I know she is ok during the day.

At night once things calm down and the kids are in bed, we either go for a walk, or play ball in the back yard. Once we come in, she wants to do nothing but cuddle, or play with Charlie (only if he starts it).

FD has been traveling and she has been sleeping in our bed every night, keeping me company. I get a few puppy kisses in the middle of the night. It’s really sweet (she just wants me to know I am not alone).

On Sunday, Sweetie is going to meet her possible furever family. They are very excited to meet her, and I am sure they will love her to death. I don’t know how anyone couldn’t love Sweetie.
