Good morning all,
With a heavy heart, we asked God to take our sweet Tessa home.
She had been sick for a few weeks, with what we thought was pancreatitis. She got a bit better, and then a bit worse. After another trip to the vet, we were told that she was almost completely consumed by cancer and would likely not make it more than a few more days. She was in terrible pain, and with our blessing, the vet helped her pass peacefully.
Tessa was our first RAGOM dog, our first introduction to the crazy world of puppy litters, and was one of the great loves of our lives. She was beautiful, gentle, sweet, loving, and funny. Her enthusiastic tail thumping against the floor welcomed visitors and family, in a distinctly "Tessa" fashion.
She delighted the entire neighborhood with her charm, and managed to love us enough to get us through a very devastating loss in our immediate family.
She loved her people unconditionally, and brought her boundless joy and affection wherever she went.
She came to us from a world of commercial dog breeding, and had many litters of puppies before being rescued by RAGOM. We are filled with gratitude that her final 2.5 years were shared with us. She gave so much in her too-short life. It was an honor and a blessing to give a bit back to her.

Tessa found the most perfect family for her forever home. No more puppies for her! Instead she will now live the Golden life as a pampered and cherished family member.

Tessa is a beautiful girl who came into RAGOM from a commercial breeder. She was pregnant when she arrived and soon delivered seven beautiful puppies. Even with all of her "duties" as a nursing mom, Tessa was such a wonderful social girl and fit in immediately with our resident dogs and our human family members.
Tessa will not be available for adoption until her puppies are ready for adoption, in about 10 weeks.
