Profile

Thor was surrendered to RAGOM by a breeder and is looking for a forever family with lots of love to give and the patience and time necessary to raise a young puppy to become a well-behaved and respectful family member. He hasn’t met a cat yet, but he gets along with other dogs and children of all ages. A physical fence is optional as long as Thor’s family has a plan to keep him safe. Thor came into RAGOM with his siblings—both male and female.

You will be required to include your plans for Thor's training, socialization, potty breaks, and exercise during the adoption application process. Please review our Puppies page and consider if your home and lifestyle will support these needs before applying to adopt a puppy.

Thor is a wonderful, sweet boy that came to RAGOM as a young puppy. Thor is a happy dog that loves to explore and get all kinds of attention. He has met children and loves to run around with them. He also has met other large dogs and does well with them.

Thor did come into rescue with giardia, which he is still receiving treatment for. Thor will not be able to go home with his new family until he is feeling better and the giardia is resolved.

Like all good puppies, Thor is really trying to get a hang of potty training and walking on a leash. Both of these are new to him, but he is very eager to please and is catching on well. Thor is very food motivated, which is helpful to his training. He is already learning to sit and lay down, and I'm certain he will be a pro at these tricks before too long.

Thor loves to play with soft toys and all kinds of balls, as well as wrestle with his brother. He can be very mouthy and has very sharp teeth. We are working on redirecting away from chewing on things he is not supposed to, but he definitely needs close monitoring since he is just a curious puppy still.

Thor will be a wonderful addition to a family that has the time to give him the training and socialization that all puppies deserve. He is a lot of work and will require a lot of time and attention, but will reward you with many laughs and puppy kisses.
