Hi, Tiger again...Well, I must say I am being well taken care of around the town of Marion, Iowa. I have now moved into a new foster home. I am living with the folks who took care of me one day last week. They fell in love and Holly decided it was okay to allow me to move. Here at my new digs, I have four dogs to romp with and I can actually keep up. I nap with them, run around in the yard with them, pee on everything outside, jump up on the bed and LOVE car rides. I am perfectly content to be near my humans and I am not a hyper dog at all.I want to give Holly a big kiss for saving my life and taking me in last weekend. I came from a shelter in Iowa that is now euthanizing many dogs and I have a feeling I would have been at the top of the list. I may only have 3 legs, but I am a loving and devoted companion. THANK YOU HOLLY and RAGOM!!!Okay, where were we? I am a bit whiney, my new Mom says, but she quiets me with a "NO" and I sit down and shut up. As a matter of fact, the three kids here do that very same thing when Mom talks. It must be magic. Speaking of the kids, I like them a lot. They think I am extra special and pet me all the time. I like to lay my head in their laps. I bet I could con them into giving me tons of treats that way. I have that gift.Well, I gotta go. New foster mom is telling me it is time to let someone else use the computer. She wanted me to also add that I am perhaps the sweetest dog she has ever seen.

My foster mom and dad had to go out of town today, so I got to go to the doggie sitter! She is another RAGOM foster just a block from my house. My day was so exciting. I got to go to work and meet about 20 new people faces. Although I was a bit shy, I warmed up quickly and everyone just kept talking about my soft fur, my quiet demeanor (whatever that word means) and my sweet face. I saw some boys play kickball, ate a few doggie treats and took a long nap on the couch at work. Then, I got to go to my doggie sitter's house and see her four resident dogs and play with her three kids. I just LOVED the attention and got along swell with everyone.
I very much enjoy riding around in the car and tonight we went to Dairy Queen. I didn't even get a lick of ice cream cause the kids were too busy shoveling it in to worry about me. So, I snuggled up next to them, put my head in their lap and fell sound asleep.
This silly photo is the result of the imagination of an 11 year old girl. Apparently, I look good in pink....I am masculine enough to take it!!

After spending a little more time with Tiger, this is what I can tell you. Tiger really loves his people. He likes to go where you go, lay at your feet, cuddle with you in bed. We've taken Tiger on a couple of walks so far, and he really enjoys them. Tiger isn't going to need to go very far, or walk for very long, but he really enjoys every second of the walks he goes on. It turns out that Tiger didn't have his leg amputated, rather Tiger was born with only three legs. We've been quite surprised at what a wide range of mobility he has, and there isn't much he can't do just as well as the other dogs. Tiger would love a laid back home, another dog would be fine as long as the dog is laid back like Tiger! He would love to be around his people as much as possible, and would be a truly devoted friend. Tiger will make a wonderful, loving companion...he just needs to find the forever family that can look past a missing leg, and see this boy for the wonderful, amazing guy that he is.
