Merry Christmas to the Senior Goldens and their fosters from Anonymous

We are getting to know sweet Tootsie.  She arrived with no paperwork but according to the vet she is between 5 and 7 years old, heartworm and Lyme's negative.  He gave her all of her innocluations and she will have the boosters when she is spayed.  She has not been neutered and will be in the next week or so.

Tootsie is so sweet.  She has settled in with the other three dogs and they all get along very well and  entertains herself with balls and chew toys.  Tootsie loves the snow.  She prances aroung the yard and bites at the snow, coming in with just her eyes showing through the snow on her face.  At times she will lie in the snow and look around. 
 
Tootsie is a velcro dog...she will sit on the ottoman while we are reading or watching television.  Occasionally she will begin to "talk" to us with a little soft vocalization.  If you ask her what she wants she will walk away, looking back at you.  If you follow her she will lead you to the door to go out or to the cupboard where the chew bones are stored. 
 
As soon as she is spayed Tootsie will be looking for her forever home.  She has been with people of all ages, some as young as 15 months. She is gentle and kind.  Play ball with her and she will love you forever.   She is very smart and learns the routine quickly.
