We picked up Tyson today. He was born 6/16/01 and is neutered. He's getting along well with our other two Goldens and the cats are hiding at this point. He knows sit, stay, down, and shake. He is a high energy dog and does like to play fetch with a ball. Tyson is very good in the car and does settle down nicely once he gets to know his surroundings. He is housebroken and can be put in a crate. His father was a AKC Golden and his mother was Collie/Border Collie mix. He does like to run and will run according to the surrendering owner. He will make a game out of it. He does not do well on a leash but does good on the Gentle Leader. I'll send an update when we get to know him a little more.

Tyson has adapted very well. He had a couple of accidents in the house but that is to be expected. He lets us know he needs to go out by going to the door. He is a fast learner and is willing to please. He would like to play ball 24/7 and enjoys a good playful rumble with our other dog, Shady. He wants to play and chase the cats but has learned that doesn't work around here and has respected the cats' space. He does not like to be groomed, but we are working little by little to change that. He is a very affectionate dog and gives lots of kisses. He does not chew on anything and has been sleeping by our bed at night. Tyson loves the grandkids and is very good with them. Tyson would like a forever home and whoever is the lucky one to get him will have a devoted, loving friend for life!
