The name Vinnie means "conqueror." For anyone who has followed his story, it is obvious how well this name fits this incredibly strong and resilient boy. We have helped him from the sick and injured dog that came to our home in early December to become a healthy and beautiful and loved dog. We endured surgery, treatments, physical therapies, medications and setbacks with him, but he always had a good attitude about it and his spirit never wavered.

Vinnie traveled to MN to again meet with the surgeon and his temp foster family fell in love with him and decided to adopt him. He will be spoiled and loved for the rest of his life by his amazing forever family.

Thank you to every single person who helped with Vinnie. He is so lucky to have so many people to love him and that wanted the best for him.

Every once in awhile I'll have a foster that has such a hold on our hearts that it makes saying goodbye, even in a good way when they get adopted, extremely difficult. Our sweet Vinnie has taken a piece of our hearts and we will always remember the months we were blessed to have him in our home and in our care. We love you, Vinnie, and will never forget you. We look forward to hearing about all of your adventures with your new family.
