Watson went to his new home where he is already adored and loved by his two moms and he has a fur brother who loves to play as much as he does. Watson will be exposed to lots of new experiences such as going to the lake, hiking, and lots of walking. Have a great life, Watson, as I know you will!

Welcome Watson to RAGOM!
Watson came to RAGOM from a breeder surrender. He is a 9-month-old Chocolate Labradoodle who still has a lot of puppy in him. He loves to run and play and explore everywhere.
What I have found out about Watson is that he loves his people. He has become my shadow pretty much everywhere I go, so he does have some separation anxiety when I am not around. He doesn't kennel well, as that just makes him more anxious, but he is not destructive. He barks a lot when I leave, but seems to settle down, as I don't hear barking when I return. It does help that the resident dog, Bella, is here as a confident presence.
Watson is just a love. He loves pets, belly rubs, and treats. He is very treat-motivated and loves mealtime especially. He loves his baby carrots, chips, ice cream, and pretty much all food items. He is potty trained and only had one accident when he first arrived, and he has had none since then.
We walk a lot, and Bella and Watson walk well together. He does have a prey drive for those darn rabbits and squirrels and would just love to catch one.
He and Bella have been playing more, and we had a couple of play dates with another RAGOM dog which was good for him. He meets people slowly and with some caution, but warms up pretty well.
He has met a couple of children and doesn't seem too bothered by them, but I think there should be caution, too, in introducing children to him for unexpected excitement and movements.
Because Watson came from a breeder at an older age, he didn't have the socialization during a period so important for young puppies. Having a confident dog in the home is very important for Watson to adjust to his new life.
A fence would be ideal as it would give him a place to run and play. It might not be required as Watson doesn't seem to be a big flight risk, but that needs more time to be determined.
The ideal home for Watson would be with a family who is home most of the time due to his separation anxiety. It would also include another confident dog in the home. Watson will give you all the love you can imagine. He is just such a sweet boy!
