01/17/07: Willow is a 6 year-old blonde female who was adopted from RAGOM in 2001, but has returned due to financial circumstances of the owners. She is 92 pounds - a far cry from the 52 pounds she weighed back in 2001 - so Willow is on a portion-controlled diet, which she is very agreeable to.
Willow is a very loving and happy girl; loves to greet you with a soft toy in her mouth while she does the Happy Dance and tells you about her day - Wrrrrrrroooo wwwrrrrrroooo!!! Never does she put her paws up on people, but loves to jump around and wiggle to express her happiness. She always walks outside with a toy in her mouth to potty but lays it down first; my front yard now looks like it belongs to a 2 year-old child with toys scattered about.
She is my constant companion and follows me everywhere, seeking pets, sweet talk, and loves to kiss. Willow literally lays directly next to my bed, sort of like she's protecting me, and is laying right next to me at the computer desk right now - happily chewing on a bone. If I look at her, she'll stop what she's doing and wag her tail, or get up and sit next to me so I can pet her. What a Sweetheart! :)
The previous owners reported a history of seizures brought on by stress, but is not epileptic. When I first met Willow, she was shaking in the back of the surrendering owner's car but have not seen her shake since then. I have not seen Willow around children yet, but she's done fine around men (as long as I am around). Due to the information provided by the previous owners, I am thinking that a quiet household without small children would be best. Willow does not seem to be timid in any way, and took a weekend ice fishing trip in perfect stride. Willow passed the cat-friendly test with flying colors; she looks at them but does not walk toward them at all (even when the cats test her by running by). Everyone is comfortable around each other; three cats and three dogs in perfect harmony.
