Winston 05-345

Profile

10/30/05: Winston is a 14 week old male that RAGOM rescued from a breeder who was getting rid of his stock because he couldn't afford to heat the building they were in. Winston and his sister Zuzu arrived on late Friday night, scared and dirty. They promptly got a much needed bath and were sent to bed.

Winston is up to date on shots and has an appointment for a vet check on Monday. He gets along well with resident dogs, cats, and people. He was a little shy at first, but is gradually coming out of his shell. He hasn't ever slept in a house before and is adjusting well. He is working on housetraining and only has accidents when we are away for long periods of time. Other than that, he holds it well until we can get him outside.

Winston must have never eaten out of a dog bowl in his previous life because he seemed scared of it at first. He still prefers to eat and drink off a shallow plate instead. When we got him, he was very thin. But two days in our house, he is starting to put on weight like the rest of us.

After all he has been through in his short little life, he is still a wonderful, loving and cuddly puppy. He would make a great addition to your home.

We will write more after the vet appointment.
