A wonderful woman named Mary R., and a wonderful RAGOM dog named Zoey (12-007), have found each other and decided to be furever friends today. Mary adopted Zoey and took her back to her home on a beautiful lake to live happily ever after. Mary has adopted from RAGOM prevously, and lost her golden to old age last year. She made a donation to RAGOM in honor of her dog, and decided to adopt again. Thank you, Mary! And, congratulations to both Mary and Zoey!

Zoey has been with us for three weeks now, and has changed very little, since she first came. She has lost five pounds, but still retains her wonderful personality. She's easy going, whether lounging around inside, or going for a walk.
She responds well to all general commands, and gets along well in any situation, that we've encountered. She is what I would call an "instant dog", just add water....some dog food, and love.
Compared to the demands of a younger dog or puppy, she blends in so well with her housemates, that we only notice that we have an extra foodbowl to fill, or a little extra time to hold the door. Her mobility is good, her blood tests came back normal, and she shows very little sign of being nine years old. She's a happy, go lucky girl, who's going to make someone a wonderful companion, much in the same way she did before her surrender, and as she does now with us. She's a gem, don't let her age deter you, she's got a lot to give.
