I’d like to introduce you to the one and only Emerson, a healthy, happy 8-week-old Golden Retriever puppy. He came to RAGOM from a commercial breeder with his mom and 2 siblings when they were 6 weeks old. He will be getting vaccine boosters in a few days, and then once he is neutered, he’ll be all ready for his forever family!

Emerson is confident and energetic, and loves to explore. He is often the one initiating play and encouraging his brothers to get rowdy! He loves interacting with people and getting belly rubs. Emerson is already showing the classic Golden traits--he loves tennis balls and sticks!

Emerson has been at his permanent foster home for a week now. He had a huge growth spurt this past week and is really filling out--he is an adorable little hunk. He is so easy-going and always seems to go with the flow. I’d say he has the calmest personality of the three. Nothing seems to get him riled up.

He had his neuter appointment yesterday, so is recovering from that. He’s been trying to lick his incision, so he is sporting a onesie to keep him from getting at it. Other than that, he is doing really well. It has been fun watching the three pups’ play style evolve and get more sophisticated in the short week they’ve been with me.

Emerson is an absolute doll. He is all set to go to his new home in a few days!
