Hello, I am Brody! I am a 5-year-old Golden with long legs and a huge heart. I was surrendered from a loving family due to a family member having allergies, but everyone can tell that I was well cared for and snuggled often. When I was surrendered, my previous family let RAGOM know that I had a history of seizures. I have had one seizure since being with my foster family, which only lasted for about 20 seconds. We will do blood work and the vet will probably start me on some sort of medicine to help control the seizures. Other than the seizures, I have no other health concerns. My heartworm and fecal tests came back negative. I weigh about 84 pounds and am neutered. I’m ready for a forever family!!

As my foster family got to know me, they realized that I know some commands and tricks – I can fetch, drop, lay down, and play tug-of-war. I love to play for as long as someone will play with me. My foster family has children and cats, and I love to hang out and play with all of them. I go outside for all of my bathroom business and have not had any accidents in the house. I also love to talk and let my foster family know that I am here and that I am a happy boy.

I am looking for a forever family that loves walks, snuggles, playing fetch, and having someone by your side during the day. Do I sound like your new forever furry friend?

Brody here! I am having a great time hanging out and playing with my foster family. I have trained them well to throw my Kong and tennis ball when I bring them to them, and I enjoy playing tug-of-war with my rope. These people know how much I enjoy having my head rubbed and my body hugged. It is nice to be with these people, but I know that my forever family is waiting for me out there.

I loved playing in the snow the other day. My foster family's house got over 12 inches - boy, was I surprised when I went outside!!

Thanks for all of the emails and questions about me. It is great to hear that RAGOM has so many supporters, and of course, I love the attention, too!!

I haven't had any more seizures lately - my new medication is easy to take with a piece of cheese.

I hope everyone has a great week!
