Bella 14-317

Profile

Bella is an 8-month-old female Golden Retriever mix. Bella is not spayed, not up-to-date on shots or preventives, not microchipped, and has never been seen by a vet. Bella was found in the oil patch in western ND when she was around 6 weeks old. There were a group of dogs/puppies running around and when the workers arrived, all dogs took off except for Bella. The surrendering owner brought her home and has cared for her since then. Bella does not like to be kenneled or confined. She will use a kennel as a potty area within 15 min. after being put in the kennel. She does not guard her food from humans. In her temporary foster home, the foster feeds all dogs in separate areas and there have been no issues. Bella takes treats nicely when with a group of dogs. Bella should go into a home with another dog. While she is a Velcro dog with her humans, she would benefit having another dog in the home if the human is gone.

I am Bella's foster and we are adopting her. She gets chipped on Nov 8 along with a heartworm test and boosters. From there, we'll set up her spay date. Sh'e a great puppy and will make a perfect resident dog (to teach other foster dogs) later down the road! Thanks for your help.
