Welcome pretty girl Xena, Princess Warrior to the RAGOM family! Xena is one of 7 puppies from Hannah 13-349 that came in from a breeder who loved his dogs. She needed a strong name to live with her 6 brothers! Xena was born October 5, 2013, so is 5 weeks old now. She is a very healthy, active puppy learning all about life. She went to the vet and has been wormed. She will get her first set of shots at 6 weeks and be spayed at 8 weeks.

Xena is just as tough as her name suggests. She can wrestle with the best of them! Puppies could teach us humans a few lessons in dispute resolution. When they fight with each other, within seconds it s forgotten and they are snuggling again. Hmmm..... Xena will be ready for adoption around the first week in December. She can entertain potential families at any time.

Please remember as you look at her adorable pictures:

  • Puppies are a LOT of work in their first year!
  • Puppies have a small, immature bladder and cannot go a full work day without being let out. You will need to make arrangements for someone to come in midday until she is about 6 months old.
  • Puppies NEED obedience, socialization and manners training! RAGOM gets many unmannered and undersocialized dogs surrendered due to the simple lack of training and socialization when the puppy was young. This is a crucial time for puppies to learn about so many things!

Xena is now known as Gracie and she is loving her new family! The feeling is completely mutual between Gracie's human siblings, her new Mom and Dad, as well as her new big fur sister, Sandy. Sandy and Gracie have been wrestling and chasing each other throughout the house! A foster Mom could not ask for a better forever home for this precious puppy! Congratulations to Gracie and the entire A family! We all hope to see you at Goldzilla in September when you will be nearing your first birthday!

Xena has her very own forever family patiently waiting for her to be old enough to come home with them. She will have a fur sister GR Sandy to show her the ropes and teach her proper doggie etiquette. :)
