Just got done with a romp with the neighbor's 2-year-old Golden male. It was like playing with my big brother. Definitely no issues playing with other dogs have been observed.

Charlotte transitioned to a new foster home this week due to her high energy. She has the energy of a 3-4 month old toddler Golden and is unsure how to focus that energy appropriately at times. She is frequently looking for others to play with or entertain her. She is walking very well on leash and good with sitting before coming in and out of the deck door. She does not beg for people food. We continue to work on recall, all done and give. She does like to steal objects with human scent when she is bored and then try to keep away. She is excellent at retrieving and does "point" for objects. Her favorite, besides ball playing, is running water. Hoses, direct from water faucet, even likes to stick her head in the shower to try for water. She is fully vetted with no health issues found. She is crated approximately 3-4 hours per day for mandatory quiet time and does fairly well with minimal barking complaints. We will continue practicing this skill. She is unwilling to crate at night and does sleep on her foster's bed with no issues. She has been exposed to children as young as 7 without problems. She does have an affinity to children's toys and need to be out of sight. She has not been exposed to cats and is very aggressive toward her foster's chinchilla and could have potential issues with small animals. She enjoys playing with younger Goldens. She would thrive in a home with other younger animals as playmates, but would be happy as well in a home as the sole resident. (Would need extra play time)
