My FM says she has been so busy and knows it has been too long since my last update, so I am going to give it a whirl. I have been pretty busy too. My day starts out at about 6 am by me going to the side of the bed and licking my FM's hand to let her know I am awake, and I would like to eat. We have breakfast, and then go for a walk with all 5 of us GRs walking together. Then when we get home, we get to play outside for a while, and then it is nap time. We go for another walk in the afternoon, and again after dinner. I think they said something about my needing to lose about 15 more pounds. Not sure what that means, but I love those walks. I also get to go for rides in the car. Sometimes we go to the pet stores, or to visit relatives. I am OK as long as I have Remi or Aspen or Abby along with me. I ride nicely and am no trouble at all. I can't jump up into the car because my legs are so short, so I put my front paws up, and FD lifts me into the SUV.
I have learned a lot of words since I have been here: walk, dinner, treat, ball, and sit.
These are some of my favorites: "You are so smart"; "Oh, you are such a pretty girl"; "What a good girl"; Want to go for a walk?" (They talk to me all the time.)
I have gotten more playful too. When FM is putting on her socks, sometimes I grab them from her, and yesterday I grabbed FD's glove and took off running with it.
I am still frightened of new people, but if they take it slow with me, I am OK. When we are on our walks, I am always looking to see if there is anyone around us. I really like people, but it just takes me time to trust them. I am so much happier than I was before I became a RAGOM girl, and my FM says it is only going to get better and better.
That's about all I have for now, and it is getting close to dinner time. Enjoy the new pictures of me.
