Tucker arrived safe and sound at his new foster home and this boy is a gem! He is 6 years old, neutered, house trained, loves cats, dogs and kids! He is not up to date on shots but will be visiting the vet tomorrow. He is a little overweight but has been on a not great food, so with a good food and a daily walk he will soon be down to his ideal weight.

This guy loves people! He appears to be the type of dog who will stick around when outside. He has lived outside for the most part as of late due to some changes in his previous families home. He adjusted very quickly to moving to a new home, so I think his forever home will be found quick! Please contact placement if you are interested!!

Tucker is on his way to Minnesota to start his new life with the M family!  I couldn't have hoped for a nicer family.  Tucker hit the jackpot.  Good luck on your new life sweet Tucker.  It was a true pleasure having you!

Tucker had his vet visit and is now current on vaccinations. We are still waiting the results of his fecal and heartworm test. Tucker is 97 pounds and for his height the vet thinks losing 25-30 pounds would put him at his ideal weight. He does have very flakey skin due to poor diet and will need frequent baths until this clears up.

Tucker would be best as an only dog or in a family with other dogs who do not like to play. Tucker spent his entire life as the only dog and does not understand play. He co-exists wonderfully with the other dogs in our home but when they try to initiate play he does not appreciate it. With any luck over time he will learn what play is but in order to avoid any injuries he will need a family who is conscious of this issue if there are other dogs in the house.
