Dear Ragom
I adopted Ember in May 2013. He was fostered by Jeanne Hartung. I called him Beau. I wanted to notify you of his passing on December 2, 2015. After a gradual decline he was no longer able to stand without help and was experiencing shortness of breath. The vet believes he may have had a stroke. We were never sure of his age, his ragom records said 6, but when I got him the vet said he was probably 9 or 10 in 2013. He was the most wonderful dog, extremely gentle, loved by all who ever met him, especially the children. He got along great with my poodle, who carried Beau's collar around with him for the first few days after Beau was gone. He was my constant companion and got me through some really tough times in my life. With the help of our very kind veterinary staff we helped him to the rainbow bridge while his head lay in my lap, just like he did all the time. I want to thank everyone at RAGOM, especially Jeanne H, who took such great foster care of him. We have kept in touch from time to time and she is aware of his passing. I just sent a donation in memorial of Beau and wondered if you would like to post him on your rainbow bridge memorial site. Here are a few pictures. Thank you to everyone at RAGOM, you do wonderful work in taking care of these precious animals, blessings to all. |
