Born with congenital defects that were incompatible with life, her FM knew shortly after her birth that she would not survive. Yet somehow, that tiny ball of fur made everyone she met overlook that it was “smarter” not to get emotionally involved, and would be “easier” to keep their distance. When she died, it was surrounded by the love she inspired and snuggled safely with her mom, Lola, and her siblings.
