Gryffin (Norman 11-366)

Profile

Norman is an adorable 4.5 month old PB Golden.  In the 5 days we've known him we have had such a good time with him, because this boy loves, loves, loves people.  When he greets you he not only wags his tail, he wags his whole body! Norman was surrendered by a family that loved him very much but couldn't afford the surgery he needed to fix an issue with his urinary tract.  Thanks to RAGOM, Norman was able to have that surgery and so far things look good.  A very special thanks to Dr. R and the staff at Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital for getting him in so quickly and taking such good care of our boy!  He'll visit Dr. R in a week to see how things are healing and if anything further will need to be done for him.  Right now, Norman has to wear a special collar to prevent him from getting to his stitches.  He doesn't mind wearing it too much.  Norman's foster mom takes it off sometimes when she is watching him closely and when she is brushing him.  Norman can sit and come and we are still working on potty training.  He loves going outside and exploring everything in the back yard. When no one is home, Norman is crated, because he is still a puppy and needs to be watched so he doesn't get into puppy trouble!  Norman was neutered at the same time as he had his urinary tract surgery but he still needs to get up to date on his shots.  A good forever home would be someone who has lots of time & love to share with this adorable puppy, and who will take him to obedience classes to help him learn how to be great dog.

Norman is in his furever home and doing great!  He has learned to do stairs and is doing a great job sitting and waiting at the door before he goes outside.  Norman is getting a lot of play time with his furever family.  He is playing with the toys that went with him and also enjoys new toys his family gave him.  Norman loves to play ball and retrieves it and brings it all the way back to his humans.  The cats and border collie aren't too sure about the energetic new puppy in their home, but with time I'm sure they will all be friends.  The 15 year old boy has been walking Norman 2x/day and giving him lots of love.  Everyone who has met Norman falls in love with him.  Norman's furever family says "We all love him so much".

Norman went to the vet and got his stitches out.  He is so happy to have freedom from the special cone collar.  Norman loves to be outside and had a great time playing in the leaf pile.  He is so much fun and such a sweetie!

We wanted to see how Norman did riding in the car other than going to the vet so Norman had a "field trip" to my parents.  He stops whining when you sing or play songs on the radio in the car.  He loves meeting new people and continues to wag his whole body!  As you can see in the picture his special collar does not stop him from chewing on sticks which is one of his favorite things to do when he is outside.
