What a lover! Tristan gives more love than any pup (including my own) but is not a velco dog. AND he is not a sloppy kisser J. He does watch me closely and I think will be very easy to train. That being said, I left my resident Remi, Emily 11-320 and Tristan while I ran to Kwik Trip for 10 minutes today and while gone “they” enjoyed my lunch from the counter. Counter surfers??? After they had a “wonderful” breakfast?? Was it a three way split? Someone needs to be trained!
We play in the fenced in yard each day – but also go in front and play and run with the neighbor dogs in circles between our two yards a few times a day and get lots of exercise! He likes the ball – but I have too many pups to see if he can play catch yet. We had eight dogs (all sizes, ages and breeds) out today and he played very well – is gentle with all, and ran to me for help if he got nervous around the bigger dogs – then joined back in for the fun. He takes naps next to me during the day, and loves to cuddle.
He has NOT had one accident in the house J. He doesn’t make a peep in the car – but I think he vomits sometimes. He rides in the back w/ his sister Emily where I can’t see them too well and I think they are nervous. I think if he was on my lap – or next to me he would be fine. He is crated at night w/sister Emily – but doesn’t need to be in his forever home – I have a “jealous” resident that sleeps w/me J
Tristan’s’ desires for his forever home; maybe a bit older kids that he can’t tip over when he gets older/bigger and excited (maybe 7+), doesn’t need to be crated, don’t think he has to have a fence, don’t know about cats, would LOVE to sleep near you (loves to nap on the couch in my arms) he loves having other dogs around as he has been with them all his life – but probably not a necessity. Most of all – a family with LOTS of love, hugs, kisses and attention to give him every day - forever. He is a beautiful puppy!
