My sweet baby girl Snowy has hit the big time. She has been adopted by a wonderful woman who has a very sweet male lab and an equally nice young adult son to keep her company. Snowy will accompany her mom on visits to her patients who receive home care. She will enjoy walks and running errands with both her new mom and her new human brother. Snowy has a huge home and a wonderful large back yard. Snowy's mom said Leo the resident lab, wagged his tail when she brought Snowy home and he has a "new pep to his step" which surprised her. I'm not too surprised as Snowy is a very happy, loving girl and everyone who meets her smiles and feels her love. Her new family is over joyed with their new addition and will provide me with lots of updates. My house is quiet without Snowy, and she's the quiet one. We all miss her but we are all happy knowing that she finally has a family of her own and will not have to move again. I know she is happy!!
Snowy and her buddy Raven 11-173 (my adopted RAGOM boy) enjoyed a spa day before Snowy left for her forever home. They both had baths at Bubbly Paws as part of their Bubbly Bowl celebration. Both did great and were good ambassadors for RAGOM's non-traditional Golden's. Neither liked the blow dryers but with their shorter coats they did fine with an extra towel or two. Thanks to Bubbly Paws for supporting rescues!!
Snowy would like to send a special thank you to the wonderful team of people who helped her become a RAGOM dog. Thanks to Konnie S for saying yes to Snowy, a senior lab, no Golden there, when we picked up Snowy and her 9 friends. Thanks to Jane N who lent her backyard and bath tub facilities so Snowy and her pals could get a bath as soon as they arrived from ND. Thanks to the legion of volunteers who gave up a Friday night on very short notice to give baths to smelly, not so social dogs. All this happened just in the first 10 hours of Snowy becoming a RAGOM dog. Imagine all the volunteers who have helped her over the past 5 plus months!! Snowy says thanks to everyone who has helped her and continues to help all the other dogs, she will extend the favor by helping her new brother grow and enjoy life just a little bit more. A truly happy ending for all.
Thank you, foster mom & crew.
