Hey everyone it's me Hank stopping by to say hi to all my fans and friends. I'm still hanging out with foster mom, Rocco, Jimmie and Tanner 10-331 at my foster home. I'm keeping really busy these days as I've been having play dates with my sisters. Rona (now Bailey) comes over every Tuesday to hang out with me and play. Last week she came over on Friday too and foster mom took both me and Rona/Bailey for a visit to see Kitra. Wow, did we have fun at Kitra's house. She has a huge yard, with a pond.....but they did not let me go swimming in the pond even though I wanted to give it a try. We ran all around the house and played and wrestled really hard. We were so tired both me and Rona/Bailey fell asleep in the car on the ride home and foster mom had to carry us in the house as we did not want to wake up. Rona/Bailey got to spend the night with me, so I had a sleep over too. Today Quigley is coming to play with me....can't wait to see that girl too. Hope my brother Ardis (now Oscar) comes over to see me soon too. I've also had a play date with foster mom's friends, got to meet two big dogs and played well with them as well with the two 10 year old boys.....yup, I'm kid tested and mother approved!! I also love to hang outside and spend lots of time outside.
Today is Jimmie's 9th birthday and foster mom bought us all bones from the butcher shop so I am enjoying this very special treat with my foster family. Tomorrow I go to the doctor for my last injection for sarcoptic mange.....Tanner 10-331 is going with me to the doctor as he has to have a blood test to see if his heartworm is gone....paws crossed for him. Got to go now so I can chew on my new butcher bone.....don't want my foster brothers or sister to get it while I'm on this computer. Your pal, Hank the Tank |

Hi Hank fans. Guess where I'm sending this update from? Bet you guessed my forever home....ha, ha, you are wrong!! I'm at foster mom's house!! Yup, I'm still hanging out with foster mom, Tanner 10-331, Jimmie and Rocco. Artie, Rona, Quigley and Kitra have gone off to their forever homes but I'm hanging out here until I complete my treatment for sarcoptic mange. My new family didn't want to risk me giving it to anyone at my new house so foster mom said I could stick around for a few more weeks.....told you guys I was the favorite. Remember when all my brothers and sisters had to be at the doc and I got to stay home.....same deal. I'm very special and foster mom's favorite!!
It's kind of cool to be the only little pup as I get to hang out with the big dogs all the time and have the puppy play room all to myself. I get to sleep in foster mom's bedroom with all the big dogs. I have my own crate to sleep in so I stay safe and sleep soundly. I'm trying out all kinds of new stuff. I get to go outside every time the big dogs go out....I potty outside most of the time and use my pee pads the rest of the time. Today I got to try some new foods. I ate a raw carrot, chewed on ice cubes and ate a dog treat that cleans your teeth. See I get lots of special treats cause I'm the favorite puppy!! Foster mom says I get to have a play date with Kitra this week!! Wow, I can't wait to see her again, I'll let you know how that goes.....it will be fun to play with the wild girl again. I think I will also hang out with Rona soon too, cause foster mom said she will dog sit for her.....see how lucky I am....told you I'm the favorite!!
Well, go to go, the big dogs want to go out and I'm all for going with....plus it makes foster mom happy when I potty outside!!
Your friend, Hank the Tank.

Hank has had a busy few days. On Saturday he and his siblings, foster brother Tanner 10-331 and my two resident labs spent several hours outside running around my fenced back yard. It was so fun to see all 5 pups flying off the stairs of the deck and zooming around the yard. They had a great time playing with each other and with the big dogs. After play time was done, all the pups had a much needed bath and some serious snuggle time while drying under the heat lamp. Somehow I thought they would all be very tired and would sleep soundly......they were up at 4 am on Sunday morning and I ended up sleeping on the floor of the puppy room with them, trying to get them to go back to sleep so I could get a few more hours of sleep too.
Tanner and Hank
On Sunday we had 16 human and 2 canine visitors, most of the families who are adopting the puppies were over for some bonding time and several friends and neighbors stopped by to see the all the pups for one last time. The pups visited with children as young as 5 and several small dogs.....all went well and everyone enjoyed tons of play time and attention. Again I thought the pups would be tired and sleep soundly.....humm....they were up at 5 am Monday morning....guess they don't need as much sleep as foster mom!!
On Monday Hank and Kitra visited VCA in Golden Valley for their neuter and spay surgery. Both Hank and Kitra came through their respective surgeries with out a hitch......whew....foster mom was a bit nervous for them to have their surgery so I am very thankful that all went well. Hank and Kitra spent the night at VCA and came home Tuesday morning. They are a bit unhappy as they need to stay quiet and can not play with each other. I am rotating them between a large crate (on my dining room table) and an x-pen (in my dining room) so they can get some exercise but still rest and recover from their operations. So far, so good.
Hank will be going to his forever home on Friday evening, so I have only a few more days to spend with this sweet guy.

Hey Hank fans, it's me Hank the Tank (as foster mom calls me) and I am sending my own update today. This computer thing is pretty easy to do when you are as smart as I am. I will be 12 weeks old on the 19th and I now weigh 17.9 pounds, on the 23rd of January I weighed 3.69 pounds so as you can see I've really grown. I know how to do stairs, can walk on a leash (foster mom said she can't carry me anymore) and I do know how to use pee pads 90% of the time but sometimes I just go where ever I am.....you know, sometimes I forget I need to go and well I just go.....that's part of being a puppy. I love to play with all my siblings and play very hard. After I am done playing, I just crash and fall asleep.....sometimes in the middle of the room and my siblings continue to play on and around me....most times I don't even wake up unless they bite me and then I get up and move.
Foster mom is keeping us pretty busy...she takes us outside for play time and lets us run around with the big dogs too. I like the big dogs a lot....Rocco is my favorite as he is a big puppy (he's almost 4 years old) and fun to play with. He likes to bark at us when we get out of control and play bows to us all the time. Last week we had tons of new visitors and guess what happened?? One of the families that came to visit us wants me to come live with them forever. Isn't that the best thing ever? I am going to have a mom, a dad, two teenage human siblings, one boy and one girl...the girl wants to be a vet and she has followed my story since I came to Ragom....she also picked me to go live with them. I will also have two mini schnauzers and 3 horses to hang out with. My new house is on 5 acres, so I have a ton of room to run around on.....am I just the luckiest guy or what?? It will be hard to leave my foster mom and my siblings but I know I will get to see them all again...foster mom says she gets visitation rights and I've heard talk of play dates and a reunion at Goldzilla in September. I'll be all grown up by then.....do you think foster mom will recognize me. I have to go to the doctor on Monday to get fixed so I can not make puppies and then I will be off to live with my forever family. I'll be sure to send another update so you can see me with my new family....got to run, siblings are barking and playing and I'm missing out.
See you later, gator. Your friend Hank the Tank.

Hello, neighbor! Maybe they should have named me Wilson after the guy from the Home Improvement TV show. You know, the one where you only ever see his eyes over the fence? Check out these pictures of me and you will see why! You might have to look kinda carefully… Toward the bottom…. On the right… Yep, that’s me!
Don’t let the fact that I am camera shy scare you away, because I am smart! Maybe even smarter than my foster fur-brother, Tanner, who ate a puppy toy yesterday. Seriously. Even I know that is a bad idea. Now we have to watch his GDP (gross daily product) to make sure his unscheduled snack makes it all the way through his pipes. It is worrisome for FM and for what? No real nutritional value in that… in a chewed up puppy toy, out a chewed up puppy toy.
Maybe I have been running with the wrong crowd! My new friend Melonie would never do something so silly… I bet she sticks to kibble and snausages like a good girl. What do you say Melonie? Should we ditch this crew and do our own thing?

Hi guys! Hank here. Whew… We have been busy! FM keeps moving us from the kennels, to the floor, to the snow. We taste everything we can find, then ID the area through a unique fertilization process. That is some serious work for a puppy. Sometimes it’s hard to concentrate on everything that needs to happen with 5 other puppies running around, especially when three of them are sisters! Am I right? Seriously, it’s hard to do an important job when you are constantly getting tackled/clipped/facemasked by Kitra, listening to Rona drone about being a snow princess, and putting up with Quigley’s silly antics. Thank goodness for Lwood (relaxed with a capital “R”) and Ardis (just a good egg).
Yesterday the entire crew went to see the vet. What a treat to go for a visit instead of a slumber party! At least I thought it was a treat until they pulled out the big pokey sticks (insert frowny face here). I didn’t like that at all, but FM says it will help make sure we never get the big sickness again, so I guess it was alright.
Shout out to my girl Konnie! I hear she is keeping busy with a special fur-butt who needs her help. I’m trying not to be too jealous even though he is a pretty good looking little guy. Don’t forget about me, ok Konnie? Soon we can B 2gether 4ever!

This stuff is GReat! You can play in it AND eat it, just like puppy mush!

Last time we talked, I thought I was resting up so I would be ready for the rest of my brothers and sisters come home, but it turns out I need a rest from one who is already here! Kitra! That girl never stops… Hank let’s do this… Hank let’s do that… Hank. Hank. Hank. Bossy girl. As you can see from my picture, I have to hide in my kennel to get a few minutes of peace! Rona is still kind of tired from being sick, so she’s not an issue right now, but if I know anything about sisters, it won’t last!
Thank goodness my boy Lwood is back in the house! We can hang out in our man cave and do guy stuff… Like snarf down the little jars of food that a special friend brought over. I wasn’t too happy about that to start ‘cause it said baby food, and I’m a big boy now. Then FM told me it was probably just big kid food that had been mislabeled, so I gobbled it right up! Mmmm hmmmm. Nothing like a little pureed squash (as long as it’s for big boys) to fill a guy’s tummy.

Hi you guys! Hank here! I just had my first puppy biscuit, and I have to tell you, it won’t be my last. Oh my… It was so crunchy and yummy, I’m still basking in the post-treat glow! I’ve got my system inputs and outputs working together now so the right stuff is coming out of the right place… How cool is that?
And, I have a sponsor! Hiya Konnie! Just want the world to know that you’re my girl. I might get a little jealous if I see you with other guys, especially furry ones, so you think we can make this an exclusive relationship? Me and You? Together at last! Together forever??? U R the 1 4 me!
I’ve been busy playing with my sister Kitra, watching the big game and snoozing. I hear some of the other fur-kids are heading back this way, so I’m resting while I can!
Please keep me in your thoughts and consider a donation in my name to help RAGOM pay my bills. I didn’t mean to, but I’ve kinda been a big spender. To donate, visit http://ragom.org/shop/featured/donate-93.html

Hi Guys! Hank here. I’m still hanging out at home with my FM. She loves me! I’m pretty sure I’m her favorite because she takes care of me personally, but she outsources the care for the other fur kids. As you can see from my pictures, I’m a big helper! I facilitate status updates on us puppies, serve as a belly warmer for FM, and help keep her hands busy… You know what they say about idle hands. I still have some issues with my back 40 (if you know what I mean) but with the help of all my RAGOM friends, I’m working on it!

So, if you didn’t think Hank was darling before, check him out now! Not sure which one he is? You’re not the only one! All he’ll say is that he is the cute one, and the other guy is his brother Ardis…
Hank continues to make the daily commute to the vet for fluids and meds. His condition is stable, but he is still working to beat this deadly disease. Vet bills for all the ND puppies continue to mount. If you can help, please visit http://ragom.org/shop/featured/donate-93.html
