Happy Spring to the Golden Seniors from Anonymous
Meet Mandi, who is now in foster care in South Dakota. She came into Ragom with Drake, 10-378. The two goldens were dropped off at the shelter (SD) together as they were breeding dogs and the owner did not want them anymore. Both dogs, un-altered, are right about 8 years old. Since being at the shelter, Mandi did go to boarding for a short time, bathed and vetted, and into our home for foster care. Mandi is a typical breeder dog in that she is not familiar with a car ride, steps, or a leash and collar. She was very timid and scared at the shelter. Mandi is 74#, and is overweight. A beautiful golden color with the ‘senior frosting’ on her face.
She is now UTD, chipped but is not spayed. She has either had puppies recently or is swollen and may have a slight underlying infection. She is also being treated for ear infection. She is a gentle, senior girl who will finally be retired from breeding. She is a love-bug. Mandi is unavailable at this time.
