Eva 10-377

Profile

February 10, 2011

Eva is a 9 month old pure breed GR. She is non-stop movement. Getting her hero shot took about 20 shots and lots of bribes. She came to us from Wisconsin. The surrendering family called us back in 2010 but found it too hard to let her go. They decided in January that the best thing for Eva and their family would be to let her go. They got her from a breeder in WI. She is up to date on all her shots and microchipped. She has a beautiful blonde wavy coat. She will most likely get to 60-70 lbs once she is fully grown. She has been to some obedience training and has done some hunting. She is young and easily distracted.

Eva loves people and does a LOT of licking of faces and hands. She does not listen well to being told to stop. She will need more obedience training for the licking and jumping. She is not good on recall. She comes when she wants to come. She loves to be outside and she can be stubborn to come in the house when called. She will most definitely need a physical fence. She does not really like to go in the kennel, but once in she behaves. No scratching or barking. She is great with small children. It is unknown how she is with cats.

Eva is great with other dogs. Loves to play. She does not have any resource guarding and gladly shares her food with other dogs. She is destructive and ate one of my Merrill shoes. Bad girl. I mean me - I should have not left them out! She is really bad at counter surfing. I almost lost an entire chicken dinner one night! So Eva needs some close observation as she learns good behaviors. She is fully house trained. Yea!

Loves the snow!

Perpetual motion!

So based on what I've said, you might be thinking Trouble with a capital T. Yes, I would say that is the case - right now. But she is going to be one awesome - lovable, family dog once she gets over her puppy antics.

Eva will be at PetSmart in Plymouth on Saturday, February 12th.
