Sura (Otter 10-363)

Profile

Hello RAGOM!

My name is Otter, me and my litter mates were born on October 18th 2010 which makes me just under 7 weeks old. My mom was a Golden Retriever and my dad is unknown. I am a sleek smooth little girl who loves to roll around in my box which is why I am named Otter. I have so much fun with my litter mates but love my humans too. I would love to find a forever home, but will need to stick around my litter mates for a little bit longer.

Foster dad took me to the vet and I have been de-wormed and had my first injections. I have not been schedule to be spayed so that will have to happen before I can got to my forever family. So if you are ready to have a
Otter kisses in your home for Christmas please contact your placement advisor. Although I cannot leave my litter until 12/13 or go to my forever home until I am spayed my foster home is ready to meet applicants.

Otter here!

I decided to do my own update this time! :) After all I am 13 weeks old now! WELL old enough to do it on my own!

I am LOVING this whole "Golden life" thing! FM and FD are great to my brother and I!! :) We get to play with so many other dogs, though sometimes they don't want to play with us, and I am just not sure why! ;) They say we get to rough or something...whatever...we know they secretly like it!

Speaking of Merlin! Would someone please adopt him! I mean I love my brother and all, but I want to get all the hugs and kisses! Not to sound selfish, but I AM cuter than him!! :) Let's just keep that between us though...ok? :)

FM says I am a good girl...for the most part...no idea what that means! ;) I mean I am cute and adorable, how much better can I be?!?! She is teaching me to go potty outside, and I think I got it down pretty good. I will sit by the door when I need to go, and if FM or FD don't see me signaling, well then I go inside. I promise I am working on it though!

Well FM says she needs to say a couple of things, so I guess I will let her and go see what the others are up to :) Talk to you all later!!

FM here! Otter is doing just wonderful! Growing up so fast! She now weighs about 15.5lbs and is still a tish bigger than Merlin. She is a very active puppy! In fact when we were at the vet last week, she was running around the front office all crazy and playful and BAM! Runs right smack into the front door!! She smacked it with enough force that it even open quite a bit!! Then she continues to run around like nothing ever happened!! I was laughing (after I made sure she was ok of course!) and so was everyone else! It was too funny!! She just kept running around and playing at the vets office, good thing we are out in the country and no one else was there at the time! Puppies! Such silly things!! :) Gotta love them!! :)

Otter will be spayed on February 3rd and will be ready for her forever home after that!! :) :) She is ready to meet potiental homes though!! Even if she does want Merlin gone first! ;)

Hello Ragom land!

Otter is doing very well! Keeping busy playing with her brother Merlin and terrorize all that they can :)

We are working on potty training still, but they are just puppies :) They are doing great though! They can make it through the night from about 9pm until 4am, and the reason it is 4am is because that is when FD get's up for work :) So then they get a chance to go out :) They make it through the day pretty good! Maybe one accident or 2, but they are doing good!

They are getting so big! I am amazed at how fast they are growing! :) They are still full of puppy kisses and love though! If you want to still get some puppy love and kisses contact your placement advisor today :)

Hello Ragom world!

Otter checking in with everyone. I am doing wonderful! I love being in my new foster home with my brother Merlin. We have a lot of fun together, and with all the other dogs in the house. Though, not all of them want to play with us all the time ;)

I think that playing with all the Chrismtas decorations is fun, but FM doesn't think like me. So far it is Christmas decorations 0, Otter and Merlin 1. Now FM has moved the other Christmas decorations up and keeps talking about some Santa guy not coming to our house. Don't know who he is though! She said if we were good then he would come ;)

I really like to play with one of the resident dogs here. Her name is Ginger and she is about the same size as me! It is sooooo fun to play with her!'

Well FM says it is time for me and Merlin to go to bed. So I will talk to everyone later!

FM Here! Otter is doing wonderful. She is your typical puppy! Loves to play and chew and sleep. Working on potty training, but you can't expect a puppy of 9 weeks to be house broken yet :) I have a feeling that they are going to catch on pretty good :) Our resident dogs are really good teachers! I am sure they are thinking that if they train them sooner then they will be adopted sooner :) Silly doggies!

Otter and Merlin went to the vet on monday to get another round of shots and they both checked out wonderfully! Otter now weighs 10.5lbs and Merlin 10lbs.

Otter will need a forever home that will be willing to teach her and take her to obedience classes. She is a puppy! They are in that learning stage!

Otter will be spayed in a couple of months in then she will be ready for her new home. Until then she is more then ready to meet her potential forever home!! :) Check out the cute pictures of her sleeping after playing! Contact placement if you think otter is the girl for you! :) She is tooooo cute to pass up! ;)

Hello Ragom world!

I know that you have already met Otter, but now she is in a new foster home! In Otter Tail county of all places! I know, ha-ha! ;)  Otter would like to say thank you to her first foster home for taking her in and take such good care of her brothers and sisters. :)

Otter is an ACTIVE, PLAYFUL, PUPPY! She loves, to chew, chew, play, chew, play, eat, chew, eat, poop and sleep! We took in not only Otter, but her brother Merlin as well, so they love to play together. Otter of course is not fully potty trained, after all she is just a young puppy. She is getting used to going outside with all the other dogs and doing her business, but sometimes she will have an accident.

Otter & Merlin stay in a kennel together and I keep a pee pad in there for them, but they keep their kennel clean!  So proud of them! They do use the pee pad, and that is good! They also sleep in the kennel together and don't make a peep at night.

FM is taking Otter and Merlin to the vet on Monday (in the town of Ottertail! I know, Ha-Ha FM) to get some more shots, and another check over.

As you can see in the pictures, Otter is a cutie pie! She loves to play with our resident dog Ginger.

Fm will send another update once we have gotten to know her better.
