Hi everyone, it's me Tanner. Foster mom says since I complained so much in my last update that I should do my own update this time as well. Since it's close to Thanksgiving, I thought I would let everyone know what I am thankful for. Actually foster mom said that's what I have to write about, so here it goes.
First is snow. I love snow, I love to roll in, lay in it, eat it (not the yellow stuff...yuck), and just run and play in it. Sure is nice to not have to sleep in the snow, so yup, I love snow. Bring on the snow....I can even make snow angels.

Second is toys. I love toys. I love to rip up the stuffed ones, so those are great but don't last too long. That's ok, cause foster mom gave me some other toys that I can't rip up....some I can chew up but I still like to play with them, and guess what, foster mom gave me a brand new tennis ball....it's red and no other dogs have ever slobbered on it...so it's mine, all mine!! I like to play fetch and can play by myself, which makes foster mom laugh.

Third is a warm house to sleep in. I love, love, love living inside and sleeping on the couch and bed. Wow, is the bed soft and warm. If Jimmie is sleeping on the bed, I sleep on a dog bed and it's soft and warm too. I like sleeping next to foster mom and getting belly rubs and ear rubs and snuggles. Relaxing in a warm house is so nice. So are dog beds, do you know there are 11 dog beds in this house....I've tried them all......only tried to eat one....slept on the rest.

Most of all, I'm thankful for RAGOM, cause they made all of this stuff happen....well not the snow, but now the snow is fun cause I can come inside when I get cold and wet. I'm also thankful to RAGOM for taking care of my medical needs and for my foster home...thanks for telling foster mom to let me off leash a bit.
Oh, and I'm thankful that I get to go to the Richfield Petsmart on the 27th from 11AM to 1PM....come visit me before I have to stay home for the next month.
Happy Thanksgiving, Tanner
Foster mom here: Tanner is enjoying his two weeks of freedom from his heartworm treatment and is making the most of it. He's been out and about, visiting friends, dog food stores and the vet for a weight check....he's gained one pound so needs to gain another 5 or 6. It's so fun to see his personality emerge as he learns to play with toys and his foster brother and sister. He plays like a puppy and anyone who sees him asks his age as he acts much younger. We've had several friends over and I can say Tanner is kid tested and mother approved. He did very well with a 9 year old boy and their 6 month old Husky mix foster from Red Lake who stopped by to visit on her way to her forever home. Tanner will be at the Richfield Petsmart on the 27th. Please stop by to see this sweet boy...while he can't be adopted until after his heartworm treatment is complete and he is neutered, he's still looking to meet that special forever family who will give him the great golden life he can be thankful for.
