Sorry, so long to update on Ms. Lacy, She is now eating 2-3 times a day and she is seeking out her food, One day I heard chomping down in the other room and there she was eating the dry food from a bowl left for her, she is now treat enthused.
She is wagging her tail much more frequently now and is more curious about the small world around her, she is breaking out of her safe corners and wanting to be with us humans: now following us around the house and onto the deck. She had a new setback of her fear with the outside - it's the Cicada bugs, humming around all day and night lately. Better now with cars and other dogs barking in the neighborhood.
Guess what? went swimming with Buddy (furbutt brother) and was very relaxed in the lake, I think we will do this more often. Not as crazy about the bath afterwards, but survived.
Another big goal accomplished, she jumped into the car and out and did just great in the backseat, These tasks may not seem like much, but from where she came from this is huge. I have had some professional opinions and all state that with time and patience and training she will be a wonderful addition to the right family. At this time definitely a well adjusted resident dog to help her with trusting humans and the world around her. Older children would be fine, But she's kind of a baby herself and needs a fair amount of attention and training. She does well with my grandson who is 4, she is well behaved and shows no guarding or aggression with toys or food for those with visiting children.
I walk her at least daily, In a large fenced area she stays close to me. I do not keep her tied out by herself with a tie out as of now, she is scared and feels more security with us nearby. Don't think it's necessary to have a fenced yard, but would be ideal.
If you meet her, you can't help but to love her!

Lacy went in for her spay today and vet said she was in surgery a bit longer than most because of her previous pregnancies, so she has a bit more pain medicine than for most dogs. But when I picked her up she was ready to get out of there, came home and is resting and leaving her incision alone as of now. She will have some pain medicine for a couple more days.
Over the week she is coming out of her scared state, she's even wagging her tail. She is showing her mommy side, she has taken at least 5 beanie babies from my daughter's room and is watching over them, she is so cute and tender. As you can see in the snapshot she can fit 3 babies in her mouth all at once.
Also she is eating a bit more but still needs encouragement with that. I took in a temporary foster (Misty 10-219) and she is showing Lacy to be more outgoing and it is working, Lacy is a bit more confident and a little bit jealous now that that young pup demands so much attention. Still no accidents in the house, what a great girl.

The verdict is in... she is not pregnant! She is now UTD on her vaccines and we will make an appointment for her spay. She has a bit of irritation in her bowels found by the ultrasound and evident by her lack of appetite lately and 3 pound weight loss. Nothing some rice and hamburger mix and probiotics for a while won't solve.
She has really started showing her personality, she paces when she needs to go outside to urinate or poop, she is playing with a stuffed doggy toy. Able to climb up and down stairs, comes when she is called with encouragement, she likes her crate and doesn't mind being in there at night or when we're gone, no whining or barking. She does not pull on the leash but doesn't walk a straight line yet, but we're now working on it. She's now learning to trust us humans, she is now counting on us for all her needs and she is lovingly grateful. She now licks us and follows me around.
