A ‘stunning’ golden boy, Jack, came to us for foster care. He came into Ragom due to financial hardships in the family. Here is what we know about this magnificent boy at this time:
We have not had Jack very long but he is ALL golden. Personality, behaviors and those great good looks of his. Beautiful head and coat-and approximately 80-85#. He is in great shape and just a lovely boy, all golden in color with sweet, gentle eyes. More to come on this beautiful boy.

Wow --- hello all. The magnificant Jack went 'home' today. A wonderful family drove over 300+ miles to come here to meet him and adopt Jack. He will now have the active life he deserves; a lot of attention and a beautiful home with 6 acres to be on, plus canoeing and lakes! Does not get much better than that. Jack is a happy camper and will live with the W family who are so wonderful and know what a golden needs and deserves. Jack, we will miss you buddy, you are a great boy. FM
Here are some new photos of Jack. He has such a beautiful coat and a face that makes you melt!
This golden is so well-rounded and well behaved. He can be trusted with treats around other dogs and cats, goes to the door when he wants out, very polite around every one, and is doing fantastic here. All the cats and dogs are in great harmony.
Jack has a small ear infection which has all but cleared up now as being a golden, will of course need to be monitored after swimming, etc. and cleaned each month. All he needs is the usual golden maintenance. He is fine with the drops and they will be done soon. He really enjoys being brushed, LOVES belly rubs, anything for attention. Car rides are great. He walks great, pulls a little bit, not much, where with daily walks, will be just fine. Again he is totally UTD, neutered and weighs 78#. He has been frontlined and has had heartgard tab.
Jack sleeps quiet all night. He has our schedule down now already and is a perfect gentleman. He enjoys kids and prior to coming into Ragom was raised with 3 children under 11.
This dog will really enjoy laying at your feet, being near you. He does not beg for food and has a very soft golden mouth. You just cannot get much better than this boy.
We are finally getting some sunshine here and we all love being outside in the yard, and just enjoy. Totally housetrained, he will not need to be crated and has free roam otherwise. If invited, he would love to be up by you on the couch……lots of lovin’! We do not encourage that here but I know this guy ‘would if he could.’ Want a real soft golden pillow? Yep, he could be it!
