Say hello to Copper!  He is a nine week old pup who had a bit of an accident in his home.  He got hit by a soccer ball and broke his back leg.  Unfortunately his family could not afford his medical care so he was surrendered to RAGOM.

Copper does suffer from a serious case of ADORABLE!  This does not give him any trouble, but it does make the people around him act like giddy fools.  Symptoms include:  Oohing and Aahing, excessive snuggling, an unnatural increase in one's vocal pitch, and an overwhelming desire to take this little cutie home.  Copper will recover from his leg injury, but may have this latter affliction all his life.

Currently, Copper is not being treated for being cute, but he will need ongoing care for his leg.  If you would like to sponsor Copper, please contact RAGOM and maybe we can arrange some puppy kisses for your generosity.

Copper was at the vet’s yesterday, they took a new x-ray and gave him his shots and implanted his RAGOM microchip. Copper gave them a fresh fecal sample, and they called today said, No worms were found.
He received a new purple and blue wrap around his splint; I am still waiting for a call back to see if he has to have it set with a plaster cast. Doctors orders are He is to be carried outside just to do his business, and be brought back in and crated.  Copper loves attention, so I put him on the dog bed’s top bunk and sit in a chair by him and love him all up and hold his chew bone toy. It has rained most of the day, so he is getting a lot of tummy rubs. He wiggles all over when he sees the other dogs, he kissed Leroy yesterday.  Sally does her puppy thing (she is the best puppy corrector) even if he doesn’t need it.  Ford lets him be here, as long as he gets his attention when he wants it.  Copper wants to thank his sponsor Stephanie K.
