Kiana is a little spitfire! She can hold her own with the three big dogs in the house. Ellie 10-099 and Kiana rip around the back yard! If Ellie pushes her around too much, she turns and gives her the business. This little girl will definitely need a few levels of obedience.

Of course, she is a typical puppy. If you forgot what that was like let me remind you. Everything goes in the mouth--electrical cords, drapes, plants, dirt clods, rocks--you name it. Paws in the water bowl, nipping at your hands and heels, jumping up for attention (because that's where you are!). Just when you think she might have 30 minutes of not peeing in the house because she just went outside--OOPS! Walking right in front of you, being under foot, pulling the toilet paper around the house, chewing on the chair legs. Is it starting to come back to you??
Well--don't fret. If you are up for the next few months of absolutely hysterical antics, puppy kisses and the energy it takes to train a dog to be a good house guest, Kiana is your girl. Because on top of all that--she is loving, snuggly and HAPPY, happy, happy!
Kiana was at the vet and got her vaccinations. She has typical puppy worms and is on meds for another 4 days. She is scheduled for her spay on Monday. The vet said her ear issue is fairly common and can often be 'trained' to lay flat in about 50% of the cases. It will take ear rubs every day (duh! She's a dog and they LOVE ear scritches) for the next few months. I have started that and she loves it. At any rate--if it doesn't ever flip right, there is nothing to worry about long term.
In the house training department, about half the time she paces before she squats so we head outside and give lots of praise for going. She is getting it but is a few weeks away from reliability. She keeps her crate clean all night, goes in easily and doesn't cry. She doesn't wake me up in the morning instead waits for everyone to get up. During the day in her crate, she does about half the time urinate before the dog walker gets here at mid day to let them out.
If you are up for an adorable puppy full of the dickens, let your placement advisor know. She won't be here long!
