Nugget arrived today and what a gorgeous boy! He is a five year-old purebred golden and has already become a member of the pack (dog and kids). Nugget is wonderful with our resident Mia as well as with my young children. He was surrendered by a loving family that clearly loved and cared for him, however they moved to a home and were not able to take him along. I’ll write more in a few days after we get to know more about the handsome boy.

Nugget is just an awesome dog! He is great around kids of all ages, all dogs he has met, potty trained and well mannered. He is also full of personality and very playful with toys (although he is a bit of a toy destroyerJ). Nugget went to the vet last week, is current on all of his shots and tested negative for heartworm. He has a slight heart murmur and will have an ultrasound later this week to learn more about the severity.
