Hunter is a purebred, male Golden Retriever puppy, who came from an unwanted litter.  He was born September 5, 2009, so that makes him 12 weeks old.  He weighed 15 pounds at the vet.  He will need his next set of shots around Christmas.
 
He is very sweet, and loves to snuggle.  He loves to play with a de-stuffed oppossum and shakes it around like a maniac!  He also loves to race our Cocker Spaniel to get to the ball first.  He had his first taste of snow today and loved eating it.  He loves to chase our 7-year-old around and has learned to make a running jump up onto the sofa!  He has been exposed to kids, cats and dogs.  We had 16 over for Thanksgiving, and he was held and loved up by young and old alike.
 
As with any pup, he would benefit from obedience training.  He is not housebroken, but everyday we have less accidents.  He sleeps all night in a crate beside our bed.  He even let us sleep in until after 8 am this weekend!
