Zeb is doing great. We had him professionally groomed last night, and he is one handsome guy. He was a little nervous at the groomer’s, but he took the nail trimming, bath and hair cut in stride. The groomer said Zeb didn’t care much for the noisy hair dryer, but he was very well behaved.
Zeb stays right in the yard when I am outside with him. He comes when I call him and he is now fetching balls. He doesn’t always want to drop it but is getting the hang of returning the ball and then trading it for a treat. He also likes to carry around stuffed animals, and he also has a soft vinyl ball that he likes to make squeak. He is very much a Velcro dog; he follows me from room to room and loves it when I sit on the floor and pet him while I watch TV.
A nice family is coming hundreds of miles to meet Zeb Saturday the 15th. We think this will be a good match and Zeb may soon be heading for his forever home.
