Sadie became a Hawkeye today when she moved into her foster home in Cedar Rapids, IA. She is a very nice looking 3 month old, with one very long tail. She has some serious growing to do to catch up with her tail!
Sadie took very quickly to the Gentle Leader, took in all the smells of her new home, met all the animals (4 cats and 2 dogs), some of the neighbors, and even went potty outside. VERY good girl, Sadie!!
She is scheduled for her vet visit on Thursday for microchipping, shots, and general physical. I believe she will pass with passing colors and will be ready to see and hear her first fireworks. With such a busy schedule ahead of her, and the long road trip today, she wanted to rest a little in the backyard today. I told her that would be OK, as long as she stayed out of the human swim pool.
