Oliver 09-113

Profile

Adorable Mr. Ollie arrived at his fosterhome tonight after spending his first 24 hours at a nice temp fosterhome.  He is very sweet and seems quite calm for a 4 month or so old puppy.  He has gotten along very well with Ragom golden foster sis Maren and shih tzu Yosi as well as the four Ragdoll cats.  More info and pictures as we get to know him.  He will go the vet first of the week to get updated on shots and anything else he needs.

Adorable Mr. Ollie is now a MN boy.  He was adopted today by the B family and has a new mom and dad, two great little boys to play with him and a feline sister.  Congratulations to all - we sure will miss you!!

Ollie is settling in really well.  He went to the vet today and weighs 37 pounds.  The vet thinks he is actually about six months old based on his teeth.  He will be a smaller male golden, probably in the 50-55 pound range.  He returns to the vet again tomorrow to be neutered.  He received his shots and is up to date.

Foster dad is very impressed with Ollie's quick learning ability.  He can sit and shake, lie down and responds appropriately to "no".  He is doing extremely well on the gentle leader.

Ollie has done very well his first day at his foster home.  He has gone for several walks, even in the rain, and even helped deliver girl scout cookies!! He is doing great with the gentle leader.  He appears to be a rather calm puppy and is interested in the usual toys, especially liking to retrieve balls.  He is doing his "jobs" mostly outside but is still working on housebreaking.  He has lovely medium gold fur with the promise of great feathering.

Ollie was donated to Ragom by another local rescue group.  A young woman was the original owner and decided she was not ready for a dog so gave him to her father who brought him into rescue, guaranteeing he will have a great forever home.  We thank him for that decision!!   Please contact placementatragom [dot] org if you are interested in an excellent four month old male golden puppy!!!
