Yesterday I said goodbye to another angel, Cindy 09-091. Cindy was my very first transport and foster and I was blessed with having her for the duration of her “dutchess” life. She was more of a gift to me than I can even begin to share with you!! She was a perfect house guest, never barked, loved her walks and TENNIS BALLS. Even on her very last day she went after the tennis ball, and it would be even better if you came to get it from her so she can run away. What a doll and this little pumpkin will be so missed by ME :-{ Cindy came to me and was my golden angel girl from the start, we turned her life around and she had a tail wagging going on and she loved to see everybody. She was there for me when I lost my resident dog Mick and she was again there when we lost Bella. One of many fun things about her is her need to see you at all times and I mean that, she followed me on the lawn mower, back and forth and everywhere else that I would go!!! The neighbors would just laugh. She was a shining star in some very sad times for me and now I had to make that very difficult decision to let her go. Cindy’s health was starting to fail and her legs were really hurting, and she was on as much pain med as was safe. She was looking tired and fatigued and just losing that zest. I decided to send her over the bridge before it got too bad for her. She left this world walking into the vets with BALL in Mouth, and I sat down and fed her Cookies and M & M ‘s until I held her head in my hands to kiss and hug her until she was gone and is now romping around with Mick and Bella and all the other Goldens that have blessed our world. Forever in my heart and NEVER FORGOTTEN. I took these pictures the day before I said goodbye. Goodbye my sweet Dutchess girl and thank you for the gifts that were given to me by fostering you!!!!
