Kobie (Teddy 09-015)

Profile

Meet Teddy!  He is PB Golden Retriever born on October 14, 2008, which makes him almost 14 weeks old.  He was the last remaining pup from an unplanned litter.  He has been well socialized and gets along great with kids and dogs. He is crate trained and I'm told he's almost house trained as well.  Teddy is a friendly, happy puppy who likes nothing better than to follow his people and play with toys.  Napping is pretty important too.  He's the cutest little butterball you ever saw!

Teddy has a vet appointment scheduled for next Wednesday (January 21).  He'll be getting his puppy shots and well check-up at that time.  He also has a minor eye infection that will be examined.  Right now ,he's getting ready for a bath.  We've brushed him and clipped his little puppy nails, all well tolerated by Teddy.  Stay tuned for more updates on this adorable little sweetheart!

Here's an update on Teddy (now Kobie) from his forever family...

Kobie is doing great!! We're working on potty training, what he can chew on (Lego's no - bones, yes!) and walking on a leash. He's really looking forward to warmer weather, as taking a potty break in -5 degree weather is no treat for man nor beast! Kobie loves our two cats, but they can't say the same. He so wants to play with them, but they are really not too pleased with the tongue baths and the Indy 500's Kobie initiates.

Kobie here!! Mom stepped away from the computer, so I'm sneaking in here to give an update. I LOVE it here! There's a little person who's about three feet tall that answers to Aiden and is AWESOME!! He's got as much energy as I do and we play and play and play! What could be better? I've learned a few new things like, "sit", "no" and "good boy". I really love Legos, but I'm learning that I'm not suppose to love them, so I'm getting to chew on bones instead. It's a pretty good trade! Oh, here comes Mom, so I better sneak out of here! Bye, for now!

Hmm, why is there fur on my keyboard??? Anyway, Kobie is growing like a weed and I imagine he's going to be a really big boy some day. We'll be sure to keep you posted!

Thank you, RAGOM and all the wonderful Foster Parents for helping us find Kobie. He's a true joy!

Just a few photos to show you what an angel Teddy was for his bath!  He jumped right in the bath tub all by himself.  I think he's going to be a water dog.  The last photo below is Teddy meeting his foster brother, Rusty (08-610).   No accidents so far!  Teddy seems to know what to do when we take him outside.  What a smart boy!
