Our Santa Bear has been with us for 3 days now. She still would rather be petted by us then anything else.
When she goes outside she does her business and hurries in and gives us a BIG hug when she returns.
We learned today from the person at the shelter she is the only shelter dog they have allowed to do a site visit at the local nursing home. What an honor for this special girl!
Today she went to the vet and got a clean bill of health! No ear infections, no fecal issues, no skin problems, just those soft, squishy red curls. The vet was also impressed by her VERY white teeth.
She did encounter 2 small dogs at the vet and although she was very excited to see them she was on a Gentle Leader and showed no signs of aggression. She even laid down with them around.
Robin and Rouser, our resident 1 year old Golden, still play like crazy! They share toys, bones, and us.
Things are getting better with our 4 year old Golden too. We are taking it slow but things are progressing.
Tomorrow we'll try and get some pictures of Robin, the Santa Bear, playing in the new snow. Stay tuned...
