Jasper 08-562

Profile

I would like to unveil some beautiful puppies. Lauren 08-498 gave birth to 11 pups last Saturday and everyone is doing well. Jasper is wearing a green collar.

The girls are quite a bit smaller than the chubby boys:) I will write more as they start to get their personalities:)

We aren't sure if the pups are goldens or golden doodles. They need to be a little older before we can tell. Either way these are beautiful puppies.

Jasper, what can I say about Jasper?  He has become one of the family favorites and he is just so darn cute and mellow.  He isn't the fiestiest of the group and he just gets along with everyone.  He is beautiful he has a patch of white on his chest and on his head.   The vet said he's nice and healthy.

I am taking a couple pups to my daughters school today and I was told I had to bring Jasper:)  If he's not already used to kids (he is) he sure will be after his fieldtrip to school.

Three pups are also going on a fieldtrip to the W. St. Paul Petco event tomorrow the 10th.  I'm not sure who will get to go but please come and meet the pups and the great volunteers who are going to be bringing them:)

If you can't make it but want to meet Jasper or one of his littermates, email placementatragom [dot] org

Ok kids! I know it's playtime for you, but I want to play too.

Hey, how do we get out of here? I can't remember how to unlock it.

Now that the Holidays and 4 birthdays are for the most part over I can sit down and write some updates:)  The little pups that I saw born 6 weeks ago are huge and beautiful:) Not to mention two weeks away from being able to go to their forever homes.  If you are interested in adopting one of these pups don't wait too long because there are only a couple more spots left.  I will be putting more pictures up soon but I couldn't wait any longer to get their 5 week pictures on the website.

These guys are all so active now and are driving their mom crazy:)  They love to sink their teeth into anything they can.  I have put all sorts of chew toys in their pen.  Whenever we go in to clean or play they love to chew on us and those little teeth can sting:)  But it's all worth the fun of playing with them.  My resident dog likes to join them in the pen and play with them too.  She is like the auntie that gives poor mom a break:)  Mom is still letting them snack but they are having 3-4 regular meals and drinking water too.  I will have to start thinking about the weaning process soon.  I'm sure Lauren won't mind too much not having those teeth on her:)  I am also going to start getting them used to being crated for short amounts of time and take a trip outside when it's not too cold.

Last time I updated, Jasper was called a golden plump:) This week most of the pups have caught up with him and he is no longer self conscious about his weight:) He is a quiet pup and loves taking naps and eating. He is, like all his siblings, beautiful. They got their first bath tonight and did pretty well so they smell as good as they look:)

Just checking in to show everyone how much I've grown in the last week or so. I have more than grown 4x's my birth weight in just 3 weeks.  I am by far the largest of my pack.  A friend of mine named Kelly B calls me a "golden plump"  I don't know what that means exactly but I think it's a compliment:)

We are all able to stand and walk now and most of us like to crawl our way out for some exploring of our room.  Sometimes my weight works against me when I want to pull myself out of our safe place onto the floor beneath.  If I played football I think I would be the center:)  If you are interested in playing ball with me for life than email placementatragom [dot] org and we will talk about a contract:)

Oh yeah, I'm the cutey in dark purple, don't confuse me with my little sister in light purple:)
