Meet Porter! Porter was returned to RAGOM when his loving owners work schedule did not allow time for him any longer. They did the right thing in wanting him to find a home that had time. Porter is a former puppy mill stud that originally came from a commercial breeder that was going out of business. Porter is a beautiful 5 yo boy. Neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.
He is a very sweet natured boy that loves all other dogs and even the kids he is living with. Porter returned to his former foster home here and we own a doggie daycare on our property. Porter gets to come to work every day. Porter came back with several extra pounds that he will need to lose. That won't be a problem given his daily work schedule!
Since Porter is a former puppy mill boy, he will need a physical fence, no kids under 10 and another medium to large sized dog in his new forever home. If that sounds like you, let your placement advisor know. You won't be disappointed!

Porter is rapidly losing weight and his health is improving as a result. He still has a ways to go as you can see from the pictures but he is a happy, active boy so it won't take long. The vet has already begun reducing his meds as a result! Porter is loving his 'work' at the doggie daycare every day with Foster Mom. He is currently living with school aged kids and loving it. If you would like to meet Porter, let your placement adivsor know.
