Hey everyone, Carson here again. It has been a week since my last update, but I wanted to let everyone know all about the great progress I am making. The first couple nights in my kennel I cried quite a bit, but not anymore. I sleep through the whole night now. It helps that foster mom and dad gave me a stuffed bunny to cuddle with at night. That bunny is so soft, just like my litter mates. I do still have accidents in the house, I am just a puppy after all. But, I am really getting the hang of going outside. I actualy whine and bark at the back door to be let out to go potty. I am just not quite consistent with that yet. But, hey, my bladder is like the size of a golf ball and I don't always realize that I have to go until it is too late.
I have been having a super fun time here. I know I am small, but I can roll with the big dogs. The one that I like to play with the most is the black Great Dane, Sally. She lays on her back and I just pounce on her! I get her good too with my sharp puppy teeth. I grab her lip or her big floppy ears and just tug on her. Don’t feel too bad for her though, she can pretty much roll me over with one swipe of her paw. Sometimes when she doesn’t really want to play, I just bark and bark at her until she does. hehe. I like to wrestle with the cats too, but they are pretty good about telling me off. So, I think it may be best to just leave them alone.
I did have my first vet. appointment and the Dr. said I looked pretty good. I got my first set of shots and now I am ready for my forever family. I have a small rash on my tummy, but all I have to do is get a bath a couple times a week for a short time with special shampoo. It is actually already starting to clear up.
I really am ready for my forever family. Are you ready for me? I know I will be a bit of work at first, but it will all be worth it, because I am going to be a great companion. If you don't think that you are ready for a puppy, that is cool. There are a lot of great dogs on this web site. I check out the web site often to keep up on what my mom and litter mates are up to. I really think that Caesar 08-386 could be a pretty cool guy to hang out with. I am hoping to meet him in the next week here. He is short like me which makes him cool. He lives only a hop, skip, and a jump away from here. I will try to get some pictures for you guys when we play together.
Anyhow, that's all I have for now. I will leave you with some new pictures of me and try not to laugh at me......I fell asleep in my food bowl. I also am sending one of me hanging with the cats. They are my size.
