Andy 08-416

Profile

Welcome to RAGOM, Andy!!

An unfortunate change in circumstances brought this sweet boy in to RAGOM.  It is clear that Andy was very loved and will be dearly missed.  Andy is a gorgeous 5 year old boy with an even more gorgeous coat - so soft and silky and beautiful feathers!

Andy is a bit scared and confused right now, and rightly so.  He finds comfort hanging with my 16 year old daughter - they are never far apart.

After knowing Andy for a short time, I think he would like a more quiet home with someone who likes to snuggle, take leisurely walks, and toss the ball for him.  Having said that, my fosters usually make a liar out of me, so he may need quite the opposite.  Time will tell.

We'll check back in after Andy settles in a bit more and has his wellness check.

From Andy's forever home....

Andy is settling in well, mostly glued to me unless someone else offers something better like playtime or a treat. He still blames the cats for any disturbances, but it's getting more calm for the 3 of them.

He did meet the golden doodle Jack and they have fun playing in our yard as we wait for the school bus each afternoon. Jack is a one year old puppy bull in a china shop. He jams his face in the sprinklers to drink. Andy was trying to copy him, but was daintily licking at the edges of the spray.

So here's a few pics of him. The one outside is after a bath and new collar, although he still needs a good brushing. I walked him for a couple days and then bought a gentle leader. What an awesome tool. He paws at it a little at the beginning, but gives up to smell and explore instead.
